The Paradise Farmhouse and 200 acres of our property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It was once the summer residence of Mabel Norman Cerio who opened the land to nature lovers, allowing them to explore, discover and observe the beauty of the property. The vision that Mabel Norman established when she created the Norman Bird Sanctuary is what ignited the tradition of education.
Our property has now become an important environmental and educational resource. The Norman Bird Sanctuary’s campus and the setting of Paradise Farm provide one of the oldest intact 18th century farms in the United States.
