More than 33,000
children and thousands of adults learn about nature's wonders through Audubon
programs annually. We connect you and your family with nature's fun and mystery
year-round at our Environmental Education Center, Audubon refuges and school
classrooms.
We promote the love and
understanding of nature to inspire you and to encourage sound stewardship of
our valuable natural resources.
Audubon's trained educators use the
environment as a living classroom and have developed educational programs that
complement school science curriculums with a unique combination of classroom
and outdoor experiences.
Environmental education enhances
students' thinking skills while increasing performance in science and other
academic areas. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Environment
Council of Rhode Island have recognized the excellence of our environmental
education programs.
